Australia

  • Hi

Does anyone know how much it is, per minute, to phone Australia from my landline to a landline in Australia? I would only be phoning once or twice a month so it may not be worth taking the international plan. Thanks.

https://www.quora.com/Why-are-international-calls-expensive

Providers are free to charge what they like for connecting international calls. As such, the cost of making international calls varies dramatically from provider to provider.

A quick Google shows that BT charge 85p per minute to Australia:

Re: Australia

85p per minute is better than £44.93 per minute 😀.

I am sorted now as I took a package out.

Thanks for your reply.

Where are you getting that price from?  The VM price is 44.94 pence per minute, which is better than 85 pence per minute 🙄
