Adding a Virgin phone line to package

I am currently using a BT phone line. To reduce the cost of my package I could add a Virgin phone line to my current package. I will only be able to do this though if Virgin can install their phone line exactly where the BT point is. Is this possible? - the sales person at Virgin was very vague about how it is installed and I do not want to agree to it if the new line has to go (for example) directly onto the Router as I know that will be impossible due to changes we've made to our property.

The line has to come from the router now. A wire then can be ran to your nearest working telephone socket to activate all the extensions

Re: Adding a Virgin phone line to package

Thank you. Is that the only way? My router is at a completely different end of the house (and can't be relocated) from my telephone socket and the wire would have to go through 3 rooms to reach it - with wooden floors so can't be hidden.
