I have just received and sucessfully installed the Hub 5. I cannot install my home phone as I have a Female RJ11 to Male BT Telephone Extension Cable and need an adaptor to connect the phone to the hub.
Do VM supply this and can I be provided with one.

On another matter, and I don't know if you can help. One of my laptop is only connecting to the 2.4ghz band, whereas on my previous hub (2ac) I connected to the 5ghz band. Is there any way of forcing it to connect to the 5ghz band.
Many thanks.
Jeff
The laptop will tend to connect to the strongest signal, which is often the 2.4GHz one.
You may be able to set the wireless adapter in the laptop to 'prefer' connection to 5GHz when it can. For Windows 10
Depending on your own individual tech knowledge and skills ... use at your own risk when making any changes.

VM should provide you with a RJ11 plug to BT socket adapter as per below
Once of the VM forum team should be able to arrange when they reply here within a few days.

Hi @Jeffberg01
Welcome back to the community forums.
Sorry to hear that you've not been able to set up your landline into your router. Did you receive an adapter at all from us at all through the post or with your quick start hub 5 set? We do send adapters for those migrating over from landline to the new IP phone system - this is just a standard adapter, should you need anything customised for your set up we would not be able to provide this.
Let me know if you're good with a standard adapter and we'll look to get one sent out to you as soon as possible.

Hi Carley,
Many thanks for the links for changing the band that my laptop connects to. Worked first time.
Any news on providing a phone adaptor for the router/phone?
Kind regards,
Jeff
