Hi there @Donna74

Thank you so much for your post and welcome to the community forums, it's great to have you here.

I am so sorry that you have faced these issues with your landline and the adapter. Can I ask if you have tired plugging the phone directly into the back of the Hub without being connected at the wall socket?

No I haven't done that, I'm a pensioner and I really don't understand what I'm doing I need my landline as I live on my own

Thank you @Donna74 and I am so sorry for any confusion.

The phone does not need to be plugged into the wall socket once it is connected at the back of the Hub.

Can the phone be located next to the Hub?

Consider a set of cordless phones with the base unit connected to the Hub - this way you are totally freed from the the fixed locations of the 1980s telephone wall sockets !
