ADT alarm dial out

Moved to Virgin from Sky and due to the phone line now coming via fibre down the hub the old phone line is dead so the alarm can’t dial out. ADT engineer said it’s not their problem. Very close to cancelling the whole lot and moving back to Sky and the much slower broadband just to solve it!

I'm very sorry to hear about the issue with your phone line. 

 

Can you confirm do you have a dial tone when you pick up a landine?

Phone connected to the hub is fine but the old socket that the alarm is hard wired into is dead

Thank you for coming back to us, 

 

It would need to be the alarm company that needed to come and sort the alarm, they will be able to wire it to the hub, If they are not able to wire it to the hub they would need to hard wire it so that we can do our bit.
