I have been having issues with my 1571, I'm currently receiving an intermittent dialling tone that sounds like I have a message but after calling 1571 there isn't one there, in the past this could carry on like this for a few days then the dialling tone goes back to normal it's fine for a week and it does it again. On Monday I phoned support who said there is an issue on Virgin's side and this will be fixed within 24-48 hours, but I still have the same issue, we have tried the usual switching it on and off again but we have found no solution and it's so long the weight time to get through. Being in my late 80s I need the phone and it concerns me to think there may be messages somewhere in the system.

Please could you help?
