Anyone else unable to dial 150 from their landline?

What happens when you dial 150

Our Centres are extremely busy right now and some calls may not connect 

Have you tried dialling 0345 454 1111 and see what happens 

Could I also ask what it was that you needed to discuss

When I dial 150 I get the 3 high pitched chimes on repeat. Not tried the local number though.

Hi Jamie,

 

Thanks for coming back to us, I am sorry to hear your getting low upload speeds, when you are checking this are you using a wired device with a gigabit network card using a Cat 6 or above ethernet cable.

 

While doing this you need to put your router into modem mode and removed everything else other than one device using speedtest.net.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for your response. I've done this already. Pc, with 1gb cat6 cable, right next to the router - still 0.05 upload. Looking at the BB pages, it seems to be a common complaint over the last couple of weeks. Seems like a case of VM throttling services back.

Have you put the router in modem mode so all the other devices haver been removed.

Hi Paul,

Yep, and gone through a full reset (40 second hold pin hold) of the router too. 

Any way, It's not for this forum. This one was for 250 not working - I've got another post going on the BB pages.
