Seems to happen with lots of people here.
It used to work. Now "not available".

My apologies for the 1471 issue. Can you change the setting on the telephone to 'tone' for me to see if it fixes?

I have a BT6600 and it doesn't seem to have this option in the menu or anywhere on phone. The user guide is no obvious help either. I assume pulse was dropped some years ago and tone was now the default, hence no option?

No. Only the twin of the BT6600. As I say, 1471 used to work on this line. I just get " Sorry the service requested is not available from this line"
