1471 not working

My 1471 service is not working. When I dial it the line goes completely dead, sometimes there is a dialling tone which rings persistently but no one answers! Anyone else having the same problem?

Yes the 1471 service used to work but not too sure when it stopped as I don't tend to use it that often. The phone is currently plugged into the wall socket & my transfer to digital starts on 10th July so maybe that will resolve the issue. Thanks for your help. Nick.

We are very sorry to hear of the issues you have been facing with the telephone service. 

The 1471 service should advise you of the last caller details. Have you ever been able to use this service on the handset? 

Is your landline connected to the Hub or to the main socket on the wall?
