Thanks for posting and welcome to the community. Sorry to hear the 1471 service is not working. Is your phone plugged into the wall socket or the telephone port 1 on the router please?

Please plug this into the telephone port 1 on the router for me 🙂 should be working if you do that.

Have you received an adapter to connect your phone to the Hub? 

If so, can you please pop this in to the Hub to see if this helps to resolve the issue?

the telephone does not fit into the router connection as it is different

We would have sent an adapter via the post in order to get this connected.

I’ve tried using the adapter to plug the phone in to the router but the phone does not even work then let alone 1471 as there is no dialing tone
