Last week I lost both Virgin broadband and my Virgin landline phone service. So I had to call Virgin help line 0845 454 1111 using my O2 mobile phone. I discovered on getting my O2 bill that this is a Premium number being non-geographic and not included in my O2 pay monthly tariff. A 16 minute call cost me £9.045 for a 16min 11 sec call. This doesn't seem right and is there not a cheaper way of getting help from Virgin is their landline phone service goes down?

The main Virgin Media number is 0345 454 1111 which is including in airtime minutes, as all 03xx number are.

Also I'm not sure if there is any link to Virgin Media on the O2 customer service line. I understand that if you're a Volt customer there is a link to O2 on the Virgin Media customers services line

Where did you get the 0845 no. from?

The VM support no. 0345 454 1111 should expect to fall within inclusive minutes for mobile calls depending on your specific mobile package.
