How can I check if there’s a problem with Virgin Media services in my area?

Service status says everything is working which is WRONG. No landline for 7 days. Had an engineer. No fix. Been migrated from plug socket upstairs so phone is directly plugged into router. Still not working. I rang virgin several times and repeated same processes they requested and they have reset, rebooted and still not working. Fed up of ringing and getting no help. They haven't even bothered to contact me via mobile to update me. Infact done NOTHING AT ALL to fix it despite more than 5 people and growing in same area.
