I come from BT, and noticed that since I joined virgin.
I sometimes get no hit registration in online game. Or killed around corners, this happend alot less likely when I was on BT connection.
Is their a 10 day window where your line is trained like you would get if you was on BT?
Virgin media technician did test the connection and installed a 6db thingy on the back of the hub.

Also to add, that latency to the game servers is the same when I was with BT. 30ms ping with virgin, 30ms ping with bt.
I am not getting packet loss, ping is the same with BT to the server.
So I dont understand, it almost seems like its the way the router is processing the information? I play on Wired. 2m brand new cat 6 cable, I also tried cat 5e cable. Also I have xbox set up in DMZ. to try and get everything open to the console.
I also noticed virgin block some network ports, one is port "53" that xbox live services uses. and some other ports the game uses.

I'm very sorry to hear about the issues you've had with the Broadband service.
I have taken a look on our side and it does look as though you have raised this with the team already.
Have they advised on the next steps on getting this resolved?
