Hi all, 

I'm going to be using an  xbox series x via EARC to connect a Samsung HW-Q800A unless its better going soundbar to the TV then plug the xbox into the soundbar along with a virgin V6 box any ideas on the best way to connect them up using the soundbar for those that have this model. 

Also I have a question, when I set the TV to use the soundbar and the TV for sound (Q Symphony I think it's called) why do I only get adaptive & game mode under the sound presets on my TV? When it's set to soundbar only I get about 4/5 different options?

Why are you using both the Soundbar and the TV for output?   It would be best to use only one IMHO.   That's probably why you get more options from the Soundbar on it's own.?  I have a 5.1 A/V system and don't use the TV for sound output at all.
