Unable to play Fifa 20 competitive

Been a customer with virgin media for over 4-5 years now, service has been good for everything but gaming. Especially when it comes to fifa.

My ping goes flying high when it comes to matchmaking and my players don’t even respond.

I have ran a speed test on think broadband with my postcode and the results came back stating my speed is 70% slower compared to everyone else in the entire region!!!

Not being able to play to my capability leaves me in a bad mood, seriously would consider some tips or advice on how to potentially improve things with my router, nothing seems to work in regards to gaming.

I will usually get crisp gameplay for about at least 1-2 hours, but after that it’s a joke fest

Re: Unable to play Fifa 20 competitive

Would need to check the signal levels if could go to http://192.168.0.1 or if using modem mode http://192.168.100.1 clicking router status top right or bottom of page depending on hub [no need to login - depending on hub] and if could copy/paste the downstream, upstream, network log, don't worry about the formatting we can easily read it.. try and avoid using screen shots..

could set a broadband monitor -> https://www.thinkbroadband.com/broadband/monitoring/quality and post results

Re: Bqm    https://www.thinkbroadband.com/broadband/monitorin...

The downstream power levels are showing too high on certain channels, would make sure all coax (white cable) are finger tight, since highly likely need a tech visit to adjust, can wait for the forum staff to pick this up in a few days, or could call faults via 150 / 0345 454 11111, the tech visit is free of charge
