Terrible connection and packet loss constantly.

Currently at the time of writing getting 20% packet loss and have done a speed test on PS5 receiving 203kbps Upload.

Been like this since lockdown and the incompetent company won't fix anything.

Any suggestions? Would a nighthawk help?

While we wait on the image being approved, is this wired or wireless?
Also post power levels and network logs from the Hub, copy and paste, do not screenshot.
A BQM is also helpful, www.thinkbroadband.com/ping

Get below when I do a service check... Doesn't tell me what the issue is or when it will be fixed though.. Can't call them as they never answer

Hi Adduxi,

Wired to my PS5 and also to my PC and both are terrible, the Wireless also cuts out constantly almost every day but the wired is never this bad.

The image waiting on being allowed is my ping graph which shows 20% packet loss

Thats easy.

What you do is cancel your VM subscription and go with Vodafone (there are others) that are now offering up to 1gbps. I am in the process of changing my services and getting 500mbps for a far cheaper price of £35.

Sorry VM you have overpriced yourselves and now that there is more competition, maybe your ridiculous prices will come down.

Liberty Global now own Virginmedia and the recent changes reflect this. If you lose your service they will not refund for the loss of connection. They have really gone down the pan in recent months and I'm off elsewhere.

Take my advice and leave!

Unfortunately in my area, Vodafone only offer up to 63mb download speeds which isn't really ideal for me
