So it seems there is an issue right now with people having the same problem as me with the ps5 lan connection not obtaining an ip address.
Apparently the fix is to set a static ip in the ps5 settings.
Can someone confirm to me the settings please as i have tried and its still not working.
when I use, cmd / ipconfig on my pc i get these settings
so i have used....
ip 192.168.0.40
subnet mask 255.255.255.0
defult gateway 192.168.0.1
dns 194.168.4.100
just to add i have tried dns 8.8.8.8 and the ps5 can conect ok via wifi .
I have also tested the ethernet cables on other devices and they are fine and it worked ok 24 hours ago via lan connection.
Im guessing this is an sony issue but if anyone can check my settings or advice that would be great
Thanks

Yes you are on the right track, but just make sure the static IP address you are using is outside the DHCP scope of the Hub. If not DHCP may allocate the same IP address to another device and you will get a duplicate IP address clash.
