Ping spikes and latency

Is there anything at all that can be done about the state of the connection?  Had the engineers out twice. Nothing has changed paying Nearly £100 a month and cannot even play a 5 minute game of rocket league ☹️

Bad news, looks like part of the current rash of over-utilisation problems.

Re: Ping spikes and latency

Yeah if you run a Bandwidth Quality Monitor test, you'll see from 8am to 10pm the latency is disgusting.

Virgin are just oversubscribed, and haven't bothered to increase the capacity of their network. It's been like this for over a month for me, they keep promising it will be "fixed soon", but I've yet to see any improvement and am starting to consider new providers.
