Are you playing over WiFi or cabled? Ideally it should be cabled.

Re: Ping Spikes on M500 Area 20

Looking at the BQM your average latency is rarely above 20m/s and even at 8pm when you did a router reboot (the red packet loss) dip then the few spikes of max random high latency between 8-10pm it doesn't look too bad. Your average is still 50m/s and under.

Compared to my issues and others I've seen you shouldn't be having too much of a problem. The question of wired/wireless really comes does come into play.

Re: Ping Spikes on M500 Area 20

As your hub stats are all in order, the network log isn't showing anything sinister, and the BQM is mostly very good, with little or no packet loss, then as you say it could be a routing issue (which is not likely to be fixed anytime soon, I'd suggest).  Or it may be a capacity issue on the Valorant servers or load management, either of which aren't VM's problem, and might be load-related to lockdown.

I can't see than VM can/will fix the problem.  If it's at Valorant's end, then you can try taking it up with the company.  If you honestly believe that it is somehow VM's routing, then probably your only option is changing ISP.

Re: Ping Spikes on M500 Area 20

Yeah if you run a Bandwidth Quality Monitor test, you'll see from 8am to 10pm the latency is disgusting.

Virgin are just oversubscribed, and haven't bothered to increase the capacity of their network. It's been like this for over a month for me, they keep promising it will be "fixed soon", but I've yet to see any improvement and am starting to consider new providers.
