Packet routing to League of Legends NA server

Hello,

I've been trying to figure out my increased ping to the NA server on League of Legends going through their support and they have come to the conclusion that it is due to my ISP.

Here is a Pingplotter graph of my connection to the NA League of Legends server (192.64.170.1)

Here is a Pingplotter graph of my connection to the EUNE server which looks a lot more normal (prod.eun1.lol.riotgames.com)

I tried connecting to the NA server through a VPN and my connection works normally but i don't think i should pay for a VPN just to play the game.

How will this get resolved? Thank you.

Re: Packet routing to League of Legends NA server

I'm not sure what the problem is?

You're connecting to a server over the other side of the world (NA LoL is hosted in Chicago).

You'll never get the same ping as connecting to EUNE.

EUNE is hosted in Germany.

Re: Packet routing to League of Legends NA server

Hey thanks for your reply. I know I get less ping in EU but my friends play on NA.

The problem is suddenly i have 150 ping instead of 100 and Riot support said theres a problem with my ISPs routing so i was wondering if its something that could be fixed, or if i have to stick to using a VPN to play
