Hi guys, first-time poster long time lurker 🙂
Saw a similar issue on the forum today, looking for some advice, in my spare time i like to steam on twitch / youtube.
I have a few different software packages i have used, obs studio, twitch studio and streamlabs obs, Where i can change my settings for my upload so i can stream at a certain quality.
I have it set for 6000 bitrates (which i assume is 6mb) and have my settings tailored for 1080. With my last broadband provider which was Plusnet i was able to stream without issues but i had to have the bitrate at 5000 as the speeds were 30 down / 7 up.
I'm on the m200 package and regularly get 200 down, and 20 up. But im getting regular packet loss, using a few programs like twitch inspector, and the built-in monitoring tool, I can see im dropping packets quite a bit, creating an unusable stream, buffering and the only way i can get around it is drop the quality to 720p which i do not understand.
With the much higher upload rate i would have expected to have less problems not more. Looking for advice for how to resolve it.
