Packet Loss and Ping Spikes

I have been experiencing random lag spikes and packet loss over the last few days that are becoming more frequent and making gaming difficult. I am even timing out of video calls very briefly.

PC has wired connection to the router via an ethernet switch however the problem still persists using an ethernet directly from the hub to the pc.

 

I have tried all the obvious steps (e.g rebooting and resetting router) but that hasn't fixed things.

Network log shows nothing out of the ordinary, upstream was good when posted, downstream power on the high side, but within accepted ranges.  Does the Downstream have any post-RS errors?

The BQMs show different things.  Top left has a hint of congestion on the local network, but nothing major, and possibly not something likely to be fixed.  The other two (which look to overlap by a couple of hours) show no evidence of that, but have a patchy packet loss problem as you describe, although it looks like that has possibly "sorted itself".

Unless there's continuing post-RS errors, or the packet loss recurs I'm not sure there's much to go on here, and it might be a case of keeping an eye on all of those indicators, and reposting a full set of status data in a few days?
