Hello,
Hoping some folks can shed some light as to why I'm getting frequent packet loss with Virgin. My broadband speed is 1Gig - superhub 4 connected in modem mode with an Asus Tuf AX5400 router (via ethernet). Have tried factory resetting both the superhub and the Asus router as well as running the superhub in normal mode but still no luck for me 😞
Edit!! I have also noticed in my logs im getting quite a few Event type code 24 errors as well

Your Downstream power levels are too high on some channels. They should be between -6 and +10, ideally closer to 0. If the Upstream channels are constantly changing profiles, that's not ideal either.
You need to get a VM technician to lower the power levels to the Hub.

I had a feeling they were too high, I've also noticed the upstream 3.1 QAM keeps changing quite frequently, upon rebooting the hub 4 it goes to 128QAM then 5 mins later drops to 32QAM. This results in games producing high ping spikes sometimes up to 500ms for a few seconds then goes back to normal 30ms.
Edit: just checked on superhub and the upstream 3.1 qam is now QAM8!

I set up a bqm as you requested and here are the results as of yet! Obvious signs of issues

The DS 3.1 Channel looks quite suspect, over 91 Million Pre RS errors are logged but by only 39 Post RS errors.
Either the error correction is Absolutely Fabulous or more plausible, Post RS errors are grossly under reported.

Had loads of disconnections today, thankfully went onto live chat and they're sending a technician round this Saturday to sort the power levels and other issues I have had 🙂
