Re: Network Log Critical Errors - Hub 3

Okay first off its pointless pinging something lan side- post a traceroute to the server for the game. Then Ill give you an adress to ping.

Next- stats look okay so set up a BQM

HERE

Run it for say 24 hrs, and post the result.

Re: Network Log Critical Errors - Hub 3

Thanks for replying....

I do not believe ' post a traceroute to the server for the game' is possible as the Konami server is more middleman and P2P connection is main connection which changes game to game person to person online. I do know the Konami server is in Japan I think but i play people all over world p2p connection

What do you think...

Re: Network Log Critical Errors - Hub 3

BQM's where visible look fine.

However T4 timeouts arent a great sign.

Are you seeing any other stuff LAN side? what does a speedtest at Ookla say?

Re: Network Log Critical Errors - Hub 3

Hi

I tried the following services:

http://www.dslreports.com/faq/toolquestion/2_Speed_Test#17930

https://www.thinkbroadband.com/broadband/monitoring/quality/view/4def950c4edb0bdd63075a71f22e1402930...

I'm wired, Cat 7 cable with showing on hub 3 as ethernet 1000 however when I run PING Tracerout Bufferfloat (not sure spelling) i'm getting great and bad results in less than a minute which exlains why my online gaming with PS4 Efootball is so bad and affecting my happiness, the Puma chip on Virgin Media hub 3 has latancy lag issue with online gaming.I also have a NEtgear router which also has a Puma chip so the same problem happens even if I go intop Modem mode.

baseline latency doubles on puma 6 devices once you surpass 24 bonded channels on the downstream side, indicating a rather significant bottleneck occuring, presumably in either the ARM CPU or the packet processor, or both.

@chessboardoflif Please don't create multiple threads for the same issue, it is against the forum rules.  I have merged your threads.

Apologies, however I believe after no response to it being last posted and having new details to post and it all being regarding a new topic made it justifiable. Apologies again.

Hi chessboardoflif,

Thanks for using the forums to get this issue with your internet looked into.

I have tried looking at the BMQ link you posted but its not taking me to your graph, could you post it again for me please?

Whilst you're doing that I'll also have a look at your services.

Pop your graph up and we'll chat further 🙂

Re: Puma 6 chipset Latency causing Psychological trauma PS4 Efootball

Personally I was waiting for you to post the one thing I asked for rather than the stuff you did which has little relevance to your issue.

Thats how diagnosing a problem works.
