i have been having issues a few times with Nat type failing. It mainly happens around midnight like it did last night but it’s just happened again tonight around 9.30pm I’m on the ps5. Is there anything I can do because it’s getting annoying now.

Hi U4Q-Geordie,

Thank you for reaching out to us in our community and welcome, sorry to hear you are facing issues with the connection on your PS5 recently, is this connected Via WIFI or an Ethernet cable, is this happening on all devices at the same time, is this only happening when in an online game?

Regards

Paul.

Hi it only happens when I’m in online gaming. I have my ps5 wired to the router but son also has a ps5 and connected by a power line and it was happen to him also.

Are you using UPnP on the hub in router mode / your own router? With more than one console connected at the same time, you will need UPnP to handle the port forwarding to achieve an Open NAT on both consoles when connected at the same time.
