MWII - Connecting to server other end of the country

Hi,

I am just wondering if there is a reason I am connecting to a server a stone throw away from the English channel, when i am just outside Edinburgh. Is there something i can do to get a server closer?

My external showing IP resolves back to Livingston, so no idea what is going on.

Thanks for your post and it's great having you in the Community. 

We're sorry to hear you're having an issue with the chosen gaming server being so far away from you. 

It's not the ISP that chooses the server - it's the game itself. 

Some things that may influence it though could be if you're using a VPN or guest network. Have you tried rebooting the device to see if this connects to a closer server? 

If not, give that a try. Can you also let us know the type of device you're using to play the game?
