Latency Spikes & Packet Loss

Hi All,

I am posting this as I am currently experiencing latency spikes and packet loss making games unplayable. I am far from a "hardcore" gamer, but the issues are making even casual gaming impossible.

I have the m100 package and had no issues for 2 years until December 2020 and it hasn't improved since then.
An engineer has been round and couldn't identify any issues and replaced the router (Hub 3), but the issues remain.

I usually play on WiFi - but I have tried using an ethernet cable and even tried putting the Hub 3 into modem mode - the average latency obviously decreases, but the spikes and packet loss remained unchanged. I tried using my PC and my Xbox - but had the same problems on both.

I created a BQM a few days ago and please see the link below:

Re: Latency Spikes & Packet Loss

Hub stats are all good, network log is normal.  Your connection looks to be suffering from over-utilisation.

Re: Latency Spikes & Packet Loss

Thank you for the feedback. Unfortunately that was what I had feared.

Guess I'll have to find a new supplier 😕
