Also, when the HUB goes slow, do any indicator lights come on the front of the HUB?
Lastly, I would like you to do a BMQ test over the next 24 hours, here's a link - BMQ - Once its done a graph of activity over the 24 hours please post a screenshot on here so we can see what it has picked up.
