Lag Spike Issues

 
 
 
 
 
 

Hi everyone, I play and stream regularly most of the days, since last week I am experiencing strong latency spikes that makes my character teleport back and forth for some seconds (I play fps mostly) I have called twice already and I don't know what to next, as they cannot see any problem in my speed test. I generally play Call of duty, Apex legends, league of legends and they all have issues. I will attach my ping screenshots of when I experience these issues. I use an ethernet cable and I did recently change it to be 100% sure, but I did ping test with another pc and with my mobile and it's the same result

Sorry to hear that you're having connection issues, I have looked into your account and the broadband stats on your account and all of them are in the expected range for a good connection. 

 

I can see that a new hub is being sent out to you and should be with you tomorrow at the earliest.

Hi Steven_L , 

Yesterday in the afternoon the technician installed the new router, after checking that every parameter was ok she dismissed me telling me that there was nothing she could do... 

In the evening I played for a 2 hours, and the latency was shockingly bad, with 4 seconds of 300+ ping followed by cannot reach the destination every 2 minutes in a cyclical way, there's anything you can do? I will be forced to leave virgin media next week as I have 14 days cool off period from the new contract...

This sounds like the Intel Puma 6 chipset issue in effect, except you said it only started recently and that hardware defect exists in all SH3s.
