Trying to connect things like a new 3dsxl and it says it cant connect, or the xbox 360. The 360 says it requires a static ip but i cant see how to do that, i try to add the mac of the 360 but then says i need to input the ip, but its done automatically on the 360, any help?

Re: Issue connecting video game consoles

Hello and welcome to the forums.

Some devices have problems connecting to the hub when Smart Wifi is turned on.

So what you need to do is to login into the hub at http://192.168.0.1 using the login details on a sticker on base of hub.

When logged in can you goto "Advanced", "Wireless", "Wireless Signal", place a tick in "Disable Channel Optimization" and then click on "Apple Changes".

This should resolve the issue you are having.Hub 3.0 2019-04-24 16-24-06.png

Re: Issue connecting video game consoles

Hello

On the xbox

  1. Open System > Settings.
  2. Select Network > Network settings.
  3. Select Advanced settings.
  4. Write down the current IP address.
  5. Select IP settings.
  6. Switch from Automatic to Manual.
  7. Input the IP address you wrote down in a previous step, and press Enter.
