Internet dropping every midnight

As said my internet drops every night at midnight we have rung and had an engineer that said it was the router updating when people are not on. This however isn't correct since we are online at that time and it's very annoying for it to drops when I am using it and it's been going on for a month and I have been considering switching ISPs because of it can I please get some help

Sounds similar to my problem, constant disconnects and packet loss and always happens around 9PM

So far I've restarted and change settings etc, had a new router sent out to me, and also had a technician over to sort power levels and its still the same old crap every night.

I'm also sorry to hear about problems you've had with your connection.
