Intermitant Packet Loss while gaming and daily internet drop outs

Hi there, 

I wonder if someone could help me. I have been experiencing packet loss while gaming for a couple of months nows. It comes and goes, always at the most inoppertune times. I have also been experiecning regular drops in internet. An engineer visited me a few weeks back and replaced a lot of cable and also replaced the Super Hub 3.0 with another Super Hub 3.0. Whilst the drops in internet have reduced a little. The packet loss is still there and I would like to try and get to the bottom of it as it renders gaming useless.

One quick question before we look into this in a bit more detail

What device are you using and how is this connected

Just a quick message 

I failed to advise that you only have 1 upstream power level, 

We normally have 4 which may be causing this packet loss

Can you try rebooting the hub again then checking as you did last time

I have rebooted it a number of times since my initial message and checking it today after your message, it still showed 1. However I did reboot it as you asked and it now shows 4.

its back to 1 again. Goes down at least twice a day too

@Redreno you have a cable fault, bad joint somewhere or damaged cable - it'll need an engineer visit. You can try calling in, just after 8am seems to give the best chance, or use the text service - unfortunately, at the moment, getting through to VM seems to be on a par with the labours of Hercules, but with any luck one of the forum team will see this and offer to contact you to arrange something.
