Re: Huge Latency

Indeed the silence is deafening ... I suspect its capacity issues ... but someone say something!

Re: Huge Latency

"Despite increased demand for its services, Virgin Media said their network has “ample capacity and is continuing to provide customers with the ultrafast and reliable services they expect at this critical time.”"

And both of these games are hosted in the Netherlands.

Well worth the £103.75 per month I'm spending with Virgin  *sarcasm*

I wouldn't even recommend this company to my worst enemy.

Re: Huge Latency

Been playing Valorant today! I'm in London, central to a server.... darting up to 130ms. GG Virgin.

Re: Huge Latency

BT can only offer me 25-42 mb/s but honestly at this point I'd prefer a 40mb connection that's stable latency wise over a 200mb that i cant play anything on.

Re: Huge Latency

Absolutely this, I currently can't use VOIP for work because my voice dips in and out, I can't use VOIP to talk to friends and family and to cap it all off when I want to unwind... I can't play anything online.

It doesn't matter if my download speed is 20mbps or 100mbps (like it's meant to be), if I'm getting 80-100+ms latency to a server in London from London and have between 10-15% packet loss.

Re: Huge Latency

I'm in the same position. I don't care about speed, its stability I need.

Can't even switch at the moment as BT et al aren't sending out engineers to fulfil new orders that require installation.

My contract is up next month which means a price hike for a service that isnt being fulfilled and I don't seem to be able to do anything about it.

Re: Huge Latency

I'm the same position. 200mb is useless without a stable connection.

Like others say it is better to switch to an isp with lower speeds when possible because it could be a long time before these guys sort anything out
