High ping (BR3)

hello

So for the past 3 weeks my online gaming has been unplayable due to high ping. many people in my area (BR3) are also experiencing the same issue which has been confirmed in another post, we was told on the 31st are issues should be fixed, but it is now the 1st and have been told to wait for the 7th for a fault to be fixed. Ticket number is F007906086.

Could we get some confirmation that this problem will indeed get fixed on the 7th. I know we are going thru hard times atm but being in lock down with no working internet is driving me crazy.

Hi sorry to hear of your troubles. Virgin media engineers are still working. With it being an issue with the exchange i am pretty confident it will getsorted.

I wouldn't hold my breath. When I phoned VM they were in denial that there is any issue at all and tried to blame my PC, equipment etc.

I'm in BR3 as well.

Send him a PM. 

In my case Keith said there is nothing wrong in the area and it could be my router (seriously doubt it, as it is fine at night). Anyway I've agreed to get superhub replaced just to eliminate the possibility. Now waiting until 8th April to receive it.

Today i have received my new hub 3 that was recommended when i first called up about the ongoing problems with virgin, i can confirm that it has not helped with the ping problems and should not work anyway due to the fault in my area.

The problem i am seeing now with this new hub is packet loss and lots of it compare to my old hub. i dont know if its a problem or not due to i cant play any games online with this fault still waiting to be fixed.

something must be up with this new hub it feels far worst then my old one,streaming videos is now buffering. Its very frustrating this situation its almost been a month since this problem started, iv been told to pay for a new hub which has done nothing to fix my situation and has made things worse.
