Since last year December I had issues with latency when playing FPS games on my PS4. I connected my PS4 with cat6 ethernet cable directly to Hub 3.0. I use the Hub 3.0 as router.
However, now FPS games are unplayable. I am constantly lagging which is very frustrating. I tried everything from resetting the Hub multiple times and changing ethernet cables. Unfortunately, it didn’t help at all. My download speed fluctuates from 40 to 90 mbps (connected with ethernet cable via ookla). My package is 100 mbps, It seems that it’s not stable.
I was told that there is an area problem and this would be fixed today. However, I called again and they said it will be fixed coming Friday. I just want to be sure if it is indeed area problem or is something wrong on my end as I was already experiencing this issue in the past. Could you please check?
