Help needed constant internet issues

Hi I have booked various engineer appointments to help deal with the poor service I keep getting to only be told by text my internet is fine when a engineer appointment has been booked.

Sorry to hear you're having some issues with your speeds,

 

I've been able to locate your account using your forum details, the hub is within the specifications we would expect, and there are no area issues showing. 

 

Are you having a problem with a wired or wireless connection? Can you explain the problem you're having- slow speeds/dropouts?

thanks for the reply 

It’s mainly gaming online it effects The most causing a lot of stuttering and screen tearing in game.  While browsing internet and watching apps like YouTube Causes buffer issues also.

i use the router in modem mode which has helped but still suffers with issues but not as frequent but still very prevalent and annoying while gaming. I have also noticed the the router can get quite hot at times as well is this normal ?

The router shouldn't feel hot- is it well ventilated/ out in the open?

 

Are you able to pop the hub back into router mode so I can go through a few more tests? 🙂

its on a sideboard in the living room so well ventilated

I've been through diagnostics, and can't see any issues flagging up. 

 

Are you able to set up a BQM so we can monitor the connection and see what's happening from your side?
