HUB 3.0 PASSWORD

I am trying to connect to my HUB 3.0 using the correct password on the base/card in side of hub.

It does not accept this password. (Also tried the secondary SSID code - which is daft - but, nothing)

Tried factory reset of hub: still does not work.

Can you please help?

Re: HUB 3.0 PASSWORD

Hi B1MBLE,

At lot of people have problems resetting the router correctly.

Keep the hub switched on and disconnect any ethernet connections, then push the reset button firmly with a paperclip or something similair. Keep it pressed in for a minute.

Don't touch anything, leave it time to update fully. After around 10 minutes and it should revert to factory settings. You can now reconnect the ethernet cables.

If you previously changed your router password it won't work and you will have to use the settings one printed on the sticker on the router. You can always change it again by going into the settings

Re: HUB 3.0 PASSWORD

Hi Dave,

Followed your instructions to the letter but, it did not work.

Incidentally, hub password was never changed so, using the password that is on the hub.

Thanks.

Re: HUB 3.0 PASSWORD

I find 60second doesn't always work.  I usually press reset button in for 20seconds then release for 5, do this 3 times and wait for 10 mins

Rich

Re: HUB 3.0 PASSWORD

Maybe I should stand on one leg and rub my stomach, while doing it...?

Is there any further feedback as it did not work and I see many people with this same issue. I need access to the hub and if I can't get it, I'll happily switch providers...

Thanks in advance.

Re: HUB 3.0 PASSWORD

I am guessing that - having given me the stock response to fixing my issue - there is no further advice...?

Should that be the case, as I need access to settings in my hub, then come January I shall cancel and go to a provider that offers better service.

If there is advice, I am very happy to take it...

Thanks.

Re: HUB 3.0 PASSWORD

Naturally, it ran through my mind to not return here and say anything else but, my utter stupidity might help someone out in future...

I'm laughing and shaking my head.

I was inputting the incorrect password. I was inputting WiFi password.

I know... laugh at me... deserve it.

Thanks for the above help. Hope my dumbness helps... you never know!

You're not the only one, I've done it, and I know that many others have.  But kudos for coming back and admitting it.
