Gig1 lag. Games unplayable

I have Gig1 and it is continually lagging on online gaming. It doesn't matter if its a wired or wireless connection on an Xbox, PC or PlayStation.. All games lag, all the time and it doesn't matter how many times i reboot the router or do a speed test that shows its fast. 

I really all fed up with Virgin. I am stuck in a contract with something that does not work. The TV boxes are average at best too. regularly the online side of things just stops and the boxes need rebooted to get it working again.

I have tried ringing multiple times, I usually wait for around 45 minutes before anyone even bothers answering then I get passed from person to person without anyone actually doing anything to help.

I have also tried tweeting but that's useless too. after multiple tweets back and forth they just tell you to ring up.

I really am fed up. Its not Cheap. I'm paying £111 a month and it doesn't work, nobody cares and all attempts to get it sorted fall on deaf ears.

I am seriously considering cancelling the direct debit and defaulting the account. I've no other option

Your choice, but it would wreck your credit score for the next six years.  Trust me on this, I understand a modicum of bad debt processes, and the only person hurt by you cancelling your DD would be you.  A lot.

There is however some good news - your hub data shows that your upstream power is far too low, and that's usually an easy fix.  I'll flag that for the forum staff, and although instant replies aren't common, they're likely to get back to you in 24 hours, and they can advise on next steps to get this fixed.

I've lodged an official complaint also. C-1712202551. Not something I really wanted to do but support is no existent and I'm fed up being scammed by these jokers.
