Hi,
I seem to be having real issues with gaming lag and rubber banding yet the internet for browsing seems to be ok.
I’m connected via Ethernet cable and I’ve tried different cables to ensure its not that. It can only be the Router/Internet or perhaps my computer needs wiping?
Anyone know how I can test what is going on?
Games: BF1 and Overwatch
Cheers

Significant packet loss! Getting worse, yet VM said nothing is wrong! Now with the retention team giving them 30days to fix before I decide to leave.

Hi @Bluebotle,
Thanks for your post, and a warm welcome back to our Community Forums.
I'm sorry to hear there are some problems when you're gaming online with lag and rubber banding. As an avid Overwatch player myself, I have also been having some problems with the connection to their servers, specifically rubber-banding - I do think that some of this is just due to their own infrastructure and the sudden Free-To-Play decision they've made, and as a result, the large number of users connecting/playing at once.
However, based on your BQM and the checks I've done on my end, we will need to get somebody out to take a look at your connection as even with poor server infrastructure on other games, you shouldn't be experiencing packet loss.
I'm going to drop you a private message so we can get this booked. Please look out for it in the top-right, purple envelope.
On a side note, who's your Overwatch main? 😉
Thanks,

Hi Bluebotle, thanks for posting and welcome to our community.
I am sorry you're having issues whilst gaming. When we check from our side, we cannot find any issues that explain why you're having such packet loss and lag issues. Forgive me, but have you tried a pinhole reset of your hub? It essentially takes your hub back to factory settings, but clears most issues. Only try if you can access your original WiFi password.
Regards
