Fluctuating Ping at peak times

Hello everyone

One year ago our internet started to act up, showing decent download/upload rates yet th connection feels very flimsy.

from arround 4pm to 11pm my connection is very weak,

ive latency variation and even when i have 30ms ping i experience rubberbanding in these times.

None else have these problems in my house im the only one who play games.

we have the fibre 350m with the hub 3 i think , but i also use a Netgear router (thought would make things better) and im using a cat6 ethernet cable.

ive restarted my router,reseted to factory settings, updated the firmware, re installed my windows, heck even tried to port forward for some of my games , did not helped at all.

and this happens every day , making the internet unusable for gaming.

so should i try to switch to 5g , or there is an other solution avaliable?

Search for the terms "Virgin Media" and "over-utilisation".

Unfortunately nothing you can do, its over utilisation and sold demand in your area.

All VM care about as an ISP is turnover and download speed which generates more customers. 

Your better of trying the second best "speed" ISP, then track the ping on your 30 day free trial to see if it is better.

That is what I will be doing.

I agree, however the BQM is showing massive packet loss which could be a fault with the line.

Certainly worth confirming with VM either way.
