FFXIV 90002 error

I am getting the all too famous 90002 error randomly pop up when playing Final Fantasy XIV.  This is a known issue that has been raised and resolved multiple times on these forums and I'm looking for a bit of that same magic.

How are you connecting? Wired or wireless.  Does this disconnect affect all connections?

Please post your power levels, Pre and PostRS errors, and Network log.  |Just copy and paste the text, do not use screenshots.

Also setup a BQM here www.thinkbroadband.com/ping

Once done we can comment.

Re: FFXIV 90002 error

This device is connected via wifi, however it was also behaving this way when it was connected via ethernet some months ago.  Nothing else drops, only my connection with FFXIV.  Setting up a BQM now.

Hopefully the following is what you need

Can you post the Upstream as well please.

The first issue is the PostRS errors should be zero.  There is most likely noise on the line, so check all the connections from the Hub to the outside wall box are finger tight, as loose connections cause noise ingress.

Once your BQM is up and running for 24 hours we can comment.  As an aside, I would never recommend wifi for gaming, stick to a good Cat 6a cable.

Upstream below.  And of course, would love to be Cat6'd in, but I'd have to run a 10m cable around the room which is a low priority fixture atm :).

Re: FFXIV 90002 error

Far to many T3 errors for my liking, but these may be historical?  When was the last reboot?

As for the cable, you can now get some very neat flat cables to run under the edges of carpet   😉

Re: FFXIV 90002 error

Hi Garg27,

Thank you for reaching out to us in our community and welcome, sorry to hear you are facing issues, I have been able to locate your account with the details we have for you, I can see there is a outage in your area Today, in regards to your post errors this may as advised be historic as I can see your Router has not been rebooted for 237 Days which is something I advise you do straight away.

Can you please try a pin reset on the Router just to rule out a software issue, first check all the internal connections are hand tight then push a pin/ paper clip in the back of the Router where it says reset, push in until you feel it press then hold in for a timed 1 Minute, do not reboot during or after and allow 15 Minutes to settle afterwards?

Regards

Paul.

Re: FFXIV 90002 error

I've finally had chance to pin reset as advised.  All connections are otherwise hand tight.

Re: FFXIV 90002 error

Struggled with the same issue for far too long. Both sides claim it’s on the others end. Found an old thread that said the issue only occurred with the hub 2/2ac. I was using 2ac. Upgraded to the 3. Hasn’t happened since. Hope this helps!
