Did anyone else get a letter from Virgin media?

Hopefully, this is to address the god awful problems that have occurred since lockdown.

Oh that's interesting! Please update me if it fixes all these problems we've been experiencing. I've switched over to BT currently and don't want to cancel VM if it's actually being fixed next month.

Hi CleverTortoise, thanks for your post.

Sorry to hear about the problems you've had with your connection, we appreciate the frustration these things can cause. If issues continue once the maintenance has been completed please let us know so we can go through further diagnostics- hopefully that wont be necessary!

Any news of the work mentioned in your letter fixing the current problems?

It looks like the works are being completed on the 28 July, we will try and minimise disruption and have this resolved in a timely manner. Chris

Re: Did anyone else get a letter from Virgin media?

My 'estimated' fix date is July 29th which is my 5th one and haven't received a letter yet.

I have had issues for 7 months and have no faith that this company will have mine sorted out anytime soon.

So, once you receive one of these letters, is it 100% confirmed that the fix will be going ahead on the mentioned date?

Re: Did anyone else get a letter from Virgin media?

Hi parr86lid2,

Thanks for your post and reaching out to us. Sorry to hear that you are having connection issues with your broadband service. Letters are sent in cases of pre-planned works, not as as guarantees for fix times. If you did not receive a letter, then it would not have been pre-planned or maintenance work that is the cause of the service interruption and more likely to be a fault that has been identified and is being worked on.

Cheers,

Corey C

Re: Did anyone else get a letter from Virgin media?

I've had 7 and a half months of congestion issues which has a 5th 'estimated' fix date of 29th July.

Let's face it, nothing will be done by then.

I was wondering if we would receive a letter before any fixes would be done that's all.

Ah OK, apologies, no. There would not be a letter but we will be aiming to have the fault resolved by the specified date.
