Continued gaming lag as well as streaming and youtube buffering/quality drop. Unsure how to resolve it.
Hi. I have been experiencing problems with my broadband since mid-November and while there has been an improvement, the latency I am experiencing when playing games and watching videos is still bad, and I am not sure what else can be done.
The internet started getting worse mid-November and the engineer stated that the black cable for our internet needed to be replaced and he would book it in. That same night though we received an email stating the issue was fixed and the engineer never came to visit.
Another engineer came to look at an unrelated issue and boosted the signal for our internet, which helped with streaming but didn't resolve the lag issues I am experiencing with gaming.
Below I have posted the BQM for today and yesterday. I am not sure what more can be done as the last engineer that came to repull our phone line said the internet is currently working fine and I am reluctant for another engineer to come and say the same thing:

No one at VM will come up with a fix. I have had the same problem since April 2020.
All you can do is keep posting on the forums. To get the message noticed & include your area reference in all your posts and keep tracking your BQM data latency.
My advice would be to leave VM and find another alternative ISP, with lower download speeds but still decent enough for you to download files. Then use a less popular service ie ISP hyper optic, that way you can track your latency in your trial period to see if the problem goes away.
VM "ultimate gaming experience" is false advertisement in many areas.
