Connection drops every hour - Lost MDD timeout

Hi everyone,

Unsure if this is lockdown related as similar issues have occured in the past, but every 1-2 hours everyone connected to the hub loses connection for between 1 and 15 minutes.

This has made working from home, video calls, streaming and anything requiring a stable connection very problematic.

Something I have noticed is that the time on the hub doesn't seem to match the network time, as these logs are from the latest occurence 10 minutes ago and show an hour behind?

Re: Connection drops every hour - Lost MDD timeout

This won't help with your connection dropping, but times listed are GMT/UTC (aka coordinated universal time/universal time clock), which is an hour behind BST.

Re: Connection drops every hour - Lost MDD timeout

So we got a new Hub 3.0 today as we were apparently on some outdated hardware.

After installing and configuring it all, exactly the same issues occur, which has resulted in an engineer being booked for Monday.

The new data is as follows

Re: Connection drops every hour - Lost MDD timeout

Thank you for your post AlistairBinnie.

Could you please run a Broadband Quality Monitor for us so we also see these drops over a 24 hour period?

Thank you, Emily.
