It's been over 18 months now and I still can't access the EA servers from my Virgin Media account to play FIFA 19 and other games. There is no problem logging in from any other internet connection other than my Virgin Media account wired or WiFi.
Based on your previous thread (here) it looks to me like EA were blocking the IP address you are assigned when the hub is in router mode, so when you switched to modem mode and were assigned a new IP it all worked. If that is still the case then you need to ask EA why they are blocking your router mode IP address, nothing VM can do about that.
