Call of Duty - Lag

Hi 

Looking for some help. Recently upgraded from 500mb to 1GB and seem to be getting lag when playing online with my friends on the PS4. Kids have been complaining that they are suffering lag too online. Can anyone help with this. Tried to phone up but gave up due to the long waits to speak with someone.

Sorry to hear of the issues you've been having. You advise this is when you're gaming and also seems to be the issue when the kids are also. How are the devices connected to the hub?

Connection is fine when wired. Only seems to be when its wireless gaming and no other devices are affected ie mobiles or Netflix on TV etc. Never had issues until I went to 1gb internet.

Seems absolutely fine that, nothing that would be jumping out at me. 

 

We always advise gaming to be on a wired connection, I know most of the time that's not possible. Looking from this side there is no issues nor on the BQM. 

 

Is it constant you're experiencing this?

I have started using the wired connection but when I am in the bedroom next to the router it starts having issues. But the kids are complaining its constantly lagging and they are the furthest away from the router so maybe why this is affecting them more ie due to the signal strength. 

I never had any issues when I was on the 500 package. Only happened since I moved to the new router provided and speed.
