For the last few months by internet connection has been solid. On Sunday my Xbox One console was having difficulties. After checking the port forwarding rules and DMZ etc. everything is ok and nothing has changed. The console itself would connect to live, however the system would not connect to any game servers. After resetting my router to factory settings to no avail i was starting to go insane.I then connected my Xbox One to my MOBILE - yes my MOBILE PHONE, as guess what it worked with no issues.I have since changed the MAC address on my Xbox One, and low an behold it works correctly.Do Virgin BLOCK MAC's if they think they are bad devices? Bear in mind that my network had over 400GB of traffic the night before. Up and Down - But that was my PC?
Maybe router mode has a mind of its own and caused issues, but behind a NAT VM can't see (well I say can't unless router mode send info some where...) your MAC of devices it only sees one the router mode MAC.
