Area 20/Orpington Terrible latency

Hi, i have been suffering from terrible latency since March on my VM350 connection. Making Online gaming and VOIP pretty much useless for me. My speeds are fine but my latency is not. This is all through ethernet connection. I've tried modem mode and a Asus router, the hub in router mode. i've tried wifi, I've tried disabling the firewall like some users have suggested in this forum but still no improvement.

I'm also in the Orpington area and the latency is terrible today. It's been very bad the last few months. Huge lag spikes in online games. 

I have been on their online chat on the Virgin media app and they told me that the main cable is faulty and is being worked on. It should be fixed on the 9th of September, I have my doubts though. I've been told about 3 times now over the last few months that there is maintenance going on just for it to make no difference in the end. 

Terrible times for Orpington gamers lol.

Yep, i've put up with it for months now trying to give them dues for the pandemic but its getting ridiculous now. I've been told on the phone there isn't any fault or anything wrong in the area by the retentions team. Hopefully a member of staff here can shed some light.

and yes your right from what ive read on the forum fix dates have been pushed back multiple times over the months.

Your downstream power levels are too low (-6 to +10 is in spec).

Do you have a device, like below, connected between your HUB and cable to the wall socket?

In that case you'll need an engineer visit to adjust the power levels.
