What error message(s) are you getting ?
Are you still a VM broadband customer ?
When you try at https://my.virginmedia.com/my-apps/email/mailbox what happens ?

Hi DJ. Thanks for your speedy reply. After a 45 min wait I was advised that the email password should be changed every month. This was news to me as I have had blueyonder email for about 20 years and had never changed the password.
It isn't actually necessary although it is good practice, I pretty much have the same password for the last few mths three so far.
