webmail not working

Hi when i try to access my email through the virgin media website it says this

Your mailbox is not available at the moment.

Please retry again in one hour and make sure you are using the correct password to access your email from all of your devices.

If the problem continues, please call our team for help on 150 from a Virgin Media phone or mobile, or 0345 454 1111 from any other phone and select option 2. For details about how much it costs to call our team from a Virgin Media home phone, visit virginmedia.com/callcosts. Call costs from other networks and mobiles vary.

I think my email account was hacked a while ago

i think it was locked by virgin media is there any way i can get it re enabled ?

While waiting for a Forum Team member with the appropriate skill and access to attend this thread, read these advice pages and threads and see if any advice helps.

You may still be able to use the Forgotten Password route:  virgin-media-reset-username-and-password 

When access is restored, you should probably check your network security more thoroughly.  Best wishes.

Changed password on this email address. Virgin says we've sent you confirmation. Still can't log in with the new password. This is one of my important email addresses out of eight. I give up.
